2017 SSA Baseball Championship – Cairns

The 2017 School Sport Australia 17 Years and Under Baseball Championship is currently taking place in Cairns this week with an exciting five day draw well underway.

The Championship, proudly hosted by Queensland School Sport, officially opened on Monday, 1 May at the Trinity Beach Baseball Complex with participating teams from ACTNSWQLDSA and VIC proudly marching into the ceremony behind their state and territory flags.

Tomorrow, all students and team officials will experience an excursion to Hartley’s Creek Crocodile Adventure Park as part of the SSA compuslory education component of Championship.

The 2017 SSA Baseball Championship Closing Ceremony will be held on Saturday, 6 May at the conclusion of the final.
