Day 2 Relay Results: 2016 School Sport Australia Triathlon National Championships

Day 2 at the SSA Triathlon National Championships saw the competition heat up with all competitors contending in the championship relay events.

Host state Queensland claimed the combined boys and girls senior relay race with a time of 1:28:17, 13 seconds ahead of Western Australia (1:28:28). New South Wales came in third clocking in at 1:30:32.

In the combined boys and girls intermediate relay race, Queensland claimed the win crossing the finish line at 1:30:54.99 ahead of Western Australia (1:31:05). In third place was New South Wales with a time of 1:31:22.

Demonstrating their strength across all age-groups Queensland also took out the combined boys and girls junior relay race with a time of 1:34:57 followed by Western Australia (1:36:50.99) in second place and New South Wales in third (1:37:24).

In the combined all age teams relay race, New South Wales confidently took out first place clocking in at 1:31:30, minutes before Queensland Team 3 at 1:34:02. Queensland Team 1 claimed third place with a time of 1:34:21.
