In a week of extreme golfing conditions down on the fleuriueu peninsula in South Australia, the Team Vic boys and Queensland girls have taken out the teams championships.
Gale force winds at McCracken Golf Club made conditions extremely challenging in the second half of the week after the benign and beautiful conditions of day one and two.
Queensland girls were undefeated for the week with diminutive captain Darcy Habgood playing brilliantly all week at the number one position, leading a team of outstanding female golfers who toppled pre event favourites Victoria.
In the boys section, Victoria took home the trophy for the first time since 1997 in an event totally dominated by New South Wales and Queensland since that time.
Host clubs South Lakes, Victor Harbor and McCracken were delighted to host the national event, with SSA thanking them all in the final presentations.
Individual champions Jones Comeford, NSW Boys and Kirsten Rudgeley, WA Girls took home the individual honours.
