SESF Extends Partnership with School Sport Australia Until 2028
The Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund (SESF) and School Sport Australia have extended their partnership for a further three years, continuing their commitment to supporting young athletes across Australia through to 2028.
The partnership provides scholarships to School Sport Australia athletes who are experiencing financial hardship and require support to attend national events. The scholarships help reduce the costs associated with participating in school sport, ensuring finances are not a barrier to talented students reaching their potential.
The SESF has provided more than $1 million in financial support to emerging athletes since 2012 and, through this partnership, will continue to help more young athletes and families access sporting opportunities.
Scholarships of up to $1,000 are available for eligible athletes attending School Sport Australia events.
The partnership also supports the SESF’s long-term goal of having 10 scholarship recipients participate in the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
