School Sport Australia is extremely pleased to welcome Phil Reeves to the position of Executive Officer of the Association. Phil is an experienced sports administrator and community leader with many years of experience in community and school sport, in addition to his professional roles in government and parliamentary positions including Queensland Minister of Sport and State Member of Parliament.
Phil’s experience in Government and working within the Sport Industry has given him a unique understanding of the relationship between Sport and Education and how they can work together to support opportunities for students in and through school sport. In many of his roles he has worked in collaboration with others and developed strong working relationships with key stakeholders. With his experience in implementing effective strategies in lobbying and his strong networks we look forward to Phil lifting the profile of School Sport at the government level, within the sport industry and in the general community.
