School Sport Australia Games 02 – 2025

City of Moreton Bay | July 26 – August 2, 2025

Australia’s Premier National School Sport Event

The School Sport Australia Games (SSAG) is a unique, multisport event that brings together the nation’s best school-aged athletes to compete in a true celebration of school sport.

After the success of the inaugural Games in 2024 on the Gold Coast, SSAG has cemented itself as more than just a championship—it’s an experience. The Games unite multiple sports under one event, creating an Olympic-style atmosphere where students proudly represent their state or territory.

A Legacy of School Sport

The first-ever SSAG in 2024 welcomed over 2,000 students, offering unforgettable experiences both on and off the field. It proved the power of combining championships into one major event—enhancing student experiences, building friendships, and fostering pride in school sport.

What’s Happening in 2025

In 2025, SSAG heads to the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, bringing even more energy, excitement, and opportunity for students, families, and schools across Australia.

The Games feature seven national championships:

  • Australian Football (15 Years & Under)
  • Basketball (12 Years & 16 Years)
  • Bowls (18 Years & Under)
  • Football/Soccer (18 Years & Under)
  • Golf (18 Years & Under)
  • Netball (15 Years & Under)
  • Rugby League (12 Years & Under)

The week includes an Opening Ceremony, Finals Celebrations, and Championship team experiences designed to create lifelong memories.
